Asia Crisis: Give 'til it hurts your kids

The kids are mad. Really mad. In fact, they may never forgive me.

And that's too bad, I guess.

But, in the end, I don't care. They're just going to have to suck it up. I'm returning many of the toys we got them for Christmas (they don't need an X-Box as much as the kids in Thailand, India and Sri Lanka need fresh drinking water) and sending the money to some of these agencies who are participating in the relief effort in Asia. I urge all parents to do the same. You might just teach your kids a valuable lesson.

Of course, if you have kids like mine, they'll hate you forever -- but then again, they'll hate you anyway, so it really doesn't matter at all, does it?
